Trump’s antics continue to bring country down; Bernice Mason (BM); Beaver County Times; October 8, 2017.

The only previous review of a BM letter is here.

Below is a review of the subject letter.

“President Trump, with his numerous antics, is rapidly bringing our country down.  His visit to Puerto Rico was a national disgrace as he lobbed paper towels at the victims, trivialized their island’s disaster because only 17 deaths had been reported, told them they were costing the United States too much money, and boasted of the federal government’s magnificent responses to the hurricane.

“As we think of all the other strange things our president has done, people keep saying, ‘I’ve never seen anything like it.’  But hang on, there is more to come.

“It has often been said that the president acts like a 10-year-old child.  There are some of us who realize that he is not acting.  Our president is mentally challenged and we can’t expect any more from him.  We would never put a 10-year-old child into the highest office of the land, but we have -- although in a grown man’s body.

“So we can only continue to shudder as we wonder, ‘What will our president do next?’  God help America.”

[RWC] At least BM is consistent with her personal attacks.  BM wrote in 2006, “President Bush is a mockery to both democracy and Christianity.  He is more like the first horseman of the Apocalypse - the rider on the white horse who went forth ‘conquering and to conquer.’”
