Letting the voters have their way; Larry Mason; Beaver County Times; November 20, 2009.

Among previous letters from Mr. Mason were “When will troops leave Iraq?”, “Build another nuke plant,” “America must disarm Iraq,” “Win the war militarily,” “Defeat on several fronts” and “Health care haves disdain have nots.”

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“The voters in the state of Maine voted down same-sex marriage.  It’s a good thing slavery won’t be on their ballot.”

[RWC] When people can’t or don’t want to address the issues, they attempt to demonize their opponents as Mr. Mason did here.  I wonder why Mr. Mason picked on Maine.  In just about every state where same-sex “marriage” was put up for a vote by the people over the last several years, it was defeated, even in California (Proposition 8) last year.
