Previous letters from Mr. Olash were entitled “Missing the point” and “A warning to Beck and Hannity fans” (8/16/09).
Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.
“Regarding Thomas Joseph’s letter on Sept. 29 stating that all of us sinful people are being punished with tornadoes, floods, blizzards, hurricanes, etc. because of his and God’s hatred of certain people.”
[RWC] Please read my critique of “Monday Musings Volume 8” for most of my comments.
“If there is a God and someday Thomas stands before him, I think God may just beat the crap out of him for invoking his name to justify his hatred of his fellow man.
“The real sin is your self-serving interpretation of the Bible to justify your hatred, bigotry, and intolerance. If you are going to practice religion of any kind do it with kindness, tolerance and love of your fellow man or shut-up.”
[RWC] You have to get a kick out of someone preaching “tolerance” telling someone with whom he disagrees to “shut-up.”
